Kurzbeschreibung:

• Hut bis 3 cm
• Hutfarbe blass braun bis kastanienbraun, jung oft blasser wegen Velipellis
• Hutoberfläche dicht filzig bis aufschuppend
• reichlich grauliche Velipellis
• Stiel nur oben bereift, in  manchen Kollektionen junge Fruchtkörper gänzlich rötlich-violett in anderen nur oben am Stiel oder nur im Fleisch
• Sporen glatt, 8.5–10.5 x 4.7–5.7 μm, av. 9.3 x 5.1 μm
• Hymenialzystiden meist recht schmal (sub)fusiform, (sub)zylindrisch oder (sub)utriform, Pleurozystiden 45-80 x 9-16 µm, av. 61 x 12 µm, Wände bis ca. 1.5 µm, gelblich-grünlich mit KOH
• Standort meist recht feucht

• Pileus up to 3 cm
• Pileus colour pale brownish to chestnut-brown, when young often paler due to the velipellis
• Pileus surface densely tomentose up to (sub)squamulose
• abundant greyish velipellis
• Stipe pruinose only near the apex, in some collections young fruit bodies entirely pinkish, in others only near the apex or only in the context 
• Spores smooth, 8.5–10.5 x 4.7–5.7 μm, av. 9.3 x 5.1 μm
• Hymenial cystidia mostly rather narrow (sub)fusiform, (sub)cylindrical or (sub)utriform, pleurocystidia 45–80 x 9–16 μm, av. 61 x 12 μm, walls up to 1.5 µm, yellowish-greenish with KOH
• Growth in rather moist locations
