• Hutfarbe dunkelbraun mit rötlichem Hauch bis dunkel rotbraun
• Hutoberfläche meist glatt bis rim(ul)os oder eingewachsen faserig
• wenig grauliche Velipellis
• Stiel ganz bereift, mit der Zeit bis intensiv rotbraun
• Sporen glatt, 7.2-10.0 x 3.9-5.0 µm, av. 8.4 x 4.4 µm
• Hymenialzystiden meist (sub)utriform, Pleurozystiden 39-74 x 12-23 µm, av. 58 x 17 µm, Wände bis 1.0 (1.5) µm, schwache Reaktion mit KOH
• Standort hochmontan bis subalpin, feucht, bei Picea
