• Hutfarbe braun bis dunkelbraun, mit oder ohne rötliche Note
• Hutoberfläche bis fein eingewachsen faserig
• keine Velipellis festgestellt
• Stiel oben bereift
• Sporen glatt, 8.1-10.5 x 5.0-6.6 µm, av. 9.4 x 5.6 µm
• Hymenialzystiden meist (sub)utriform, Pleurozystiden 52-86 x 12-22 µm, av. 66 x 17 µm, Wände bis 2.0 (2.5) µm, schwache Reaktion mit KOH
• Standort subalpin bis alpin mit  Nadelbäumen, bzw. Zwergweide

Short description:

• Pileus up to 2 cm
• Pileus colour brown to dark brown, with or without reddish tinges
• Pileus surface up to finely innately fibrillose
• no velipellis observed
• Stipe pruinose only near the apex
• Spores smooth, 8.1-10.5 x 5.0-6.6 µm, av. 9.4 x 5.6 µm
• Hymenial cystidia mostly (sub)utriform, pleurocystidia  52-86 x 12-22 µm, av. 66 x 17 µm, walls up to 2.0 (2.5) µm, weak reaction with KOH
• Habitat subalpine to alpine with conifers resp. dwarf Salix
