Kurzbeschreibung:

• Hut bis ca. 4 cm
• Hutfarbe nussbraun, kastanienbraun, dunkelbraun
• Hutoberfläche bis beinahe wollig, oft mit dem Alter zerfasert
• weißliche Velipellis
• Stiel oben bereift
• Sporen glatt, 9.5-15.9 x 5.4-7.6 µm, av. 11.4 x 6.3 µm
• Hymenialzystiden oft (sub)utriform, aber auch sehr variabel in der Form, Pleurozystiden 49-91 x 9-20 µm, av. 69 x 15 µm, Wände bis 2.0 (3.0) µm, fast farblos bis schwache Reaktion mit KOH
• Habitat alpin/arctic, aber auch in niedrigeren Höhen mit Zwergweiden, Zwergbirke oder Nadelbäumen

• Habitat alpine/arctic, but also in lower situated areas, with dwarf Salix, dwarf Betula or conifers
